M.301 - Getting Ready for Your First Capital Campaign
6:45-8:45pm

Launching a capital campaign is the most effective way to dramatically expand an organization’s possibilities. It requires a coherent and compelling plan, a circle of committed donors, and a team of willing solicitors. This workshop will help you evaluate whether your organization is ready, and what you need to do before you ask for your first gift. An additional goal of this workshop is to take the mystery and intimidation out of face to face fund raising.

Thursday, December 4th
6:45-8:45pm

The Democratic Republic of the Congo(DRC) is home to 80% of the world\\\'s coltan reserves, an essential element used in the production of cell phones and its export is said to be a driving force behind the violence in the DRC, which has cost the lives of nearly 6,000,000 people since 1996.
